These K-9’s are highly trained in Scent Detection to alert if a student or staff member has entered with firearms, ammunition, or narcotics.
In an Active Shooter situation they’re trained to immediately and effectively subdue the suspect. Minimizing the risk of death in students, staff, and potentially law enforcement.
To protect the integrity of this program in a real Active Shooter situation or an attempt to plan ahead. We do not detail out specific training information to the public nor release video footage. This information is highly confidential and only provided to specific school district and law enforcement personnel we’re directly contracted with.
